When will computers take over from humans?

I mean tech is fast they can fit twice as much data in the same amount of space, and this goes on and on soon a standard laptop will be the size of an ipod with twice the amount on it. Will a computers take over from the human brain.

Or like 10 human brains (scary)

Never. (you still need humans to program computers)

When will computers take over from humans?anti virus scan

When humans allow them to by not carefully limiting their intelligence and abilities. Self replicating machines (Von Neumann machines) could clearly threaten the extinction of the human race. It is arguable that predictable short term extensions to present technology would allow the instantiation of an artificial personality in a volume not much larger than the human brain. The actual software needed for an artificial personality is unknown now but will likely be developed in the next several decades. If the human race is eliminated by it's own creations, it would seem likely that such dangerous variants would be originally developed as war machines. The next several hundred years will be critical for the survival of humans. Without a little luck we may not survive.
May be in the next 50 years.

Big companies will have greater budget and govern on people.

Robot will be used as guards.

As in Film Wasington 2050.
How could u program random free will?Although it can be a human pitfall, its nonetheless an important part of being human.
They already have, you just haven't noticed yet. Haven't you noticed that ''George W. Bush'' is actually a computer?
Not in our lifetime , Human brain hold alot of info
Never!for the simple reason that we made them. And we can make them the way we want them, even if they are using genebased computing.

Also, it can be inferred from the research works of the great para psychologists like Susy Smith, that we,human beings have ''souls''. Luckily there is no such thing for the computers.
