The language can be a little confusing, but you'll see something like 802.11g (or ''a''). The letter suffix relates to the network's transfer speed. I would recommend the ''g'', since it's more than fast enough for your internet connection, and if you decide to transfer files between computers it will provide you with a good speed for that.
