I have two computers on my desk at home, but only one printer. Is it possible to hook both of the computers to the same printer?
Can you hook up two computers to one printer?adware
If the printer is usb, then you can use a usb hub. The other option is a print server hooked to the printer and install it on your network.

go into the printer properties.
and share the printer. this will allow you to choose a name.
now the two computer have to be on the same network. so assuming you have dsl or boadban and are running through a home network. just add the printer to the next computer and user network option and it will find the shared printer. install the driver and you have one printer through two computers. Note the main computer that is sharing must be on.
Yes it is possible and easy to do also. There are a number of different ways it can be done from a parallel switch, usb hub, to a network/sharing solution. I can walk you through all the above if you tell me which you will be using.
yes, you can share it through a newwork

You can connect the two computers on a network, but to know how to do it, you will have to ask that as a different question. Still leaves another question, how do you physically connect one printer to two computers. The printer has only one input connector. If the printer is USB, then a USB hub will do, but if it is Parallel, then you need a switch and two additional cables (25Pin ''D'' extension). Once you find out for sure what you need, you can buy for the lowest price at CableWholsale.com. Doing it this way, you don't have to have the second computer on, to send data to the printer, if the printer is connected to the first one only.
ya sure
u can either connect printer thorugh network
or u can buy a Mini USB Print Server .. which will combine wires frm computer to a single printer .
