Making my computers wireless?

We have two Dell desktop computers, but only internet to one of them, so we need to know how to go wireless to connect it to the other (we dont need them linked or to tranx data, just so they both get the internet), what do i need to buy to do this? A router and two wireless cards?? Any suggestions, name suggestions would be appreciated!

I would get a Linksys WRT54G wireless router for around $49 and two USB/Wireless adapters for $29--39. They are made by several name brand companies and all are about the same. That will be the easiest method without having to open the systems. Be sure to set up wireless security and change the login password on the router for security.

well im assuming your dell computer has windows XP. most desktops don't have built in wireless cards just in case right click on the two computer screens in the bottom right corner click on connect to a network if no wireless routers show then u need to get a wireless card for that computer. net gear wireless card are usually the best. get a wireless usb so you don't need to open up your computer. also u should get a net gear router. and to get wireless you cant have dial up.
Hmm, well, yes, that would be a good start, although, you can leave the one wired from the router, and just buy one wireless adapter, which will hook into one of your usb ports.
How far apart are they ? You could use a crossover ethernet cable between the two pcs and use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)
