How many computers will one autocad program work with?

Can one autocad program work with multiple computers or do you need to buy separate programs for each one?

You can buy a network licence say for 5 or 10 persons, or how many seat you require so the answer is yes. But if a user is working off site per say. Then stand alone would be better.

A network key can be tranferred say between you home and office. Via email. The problem here you mustn't forget to email back to youself.

Adding to the previous response. Depending on your version of AutoCAD you can buy a network license which will allow you to run the number of licenses you bought in unlimited amount of computers at any given time. With that said, let's said you buy 3 network licenses then you can run 3 copies of AutoCAD at the same time no matter which computer you had them installed in. It's like the number of books you buy. You can lend it to unlimited number of people but only the lucky few who will have the actual book. The network version will also allow a computer to borrow the license for a period of time that you decide and it will expire at that given time no matter if you return the license or not.
There are ways around the licensing agreement but you are supposed to buy separate ''seats'' for each computer.
