There is a fee for doing someone elses homework....by the time you get the right answers (if you do) you coulda read the chapter and had it done!
I was told in a recent answer that it could be installed on 3 computers, but I now believe that to be wrong. Can anyone give a definitive answer to this and provide a link to a reliable source that can confirm it in writing? I want to install it on two laptops and a desktop PC that are in the same house - I'm not even a business anyway, we just need more than Word/Excel in our house!
Office 2007 is extremely restrictive: the Commercial items, one License, One Install. The only exception appears to be the OEM editions. But I can't claim for sure on that, all that I know is that the MS site has multi licenses starting at 5 units at the base, other sizes can be varied. The testing we did at work showed that the install is flexible if you have the right license, but a retail is one license, one install.

Generally, 5 unit purchases have the best volume value, but this varies
I don't think it matters. I have a pirated full version of office 2003 that I have on all three of the computers in my house. My encouragement to you is if you don't use it in business don't worry about how much time you install it.
I bought an HP Pavilion Slimline several months ago, and the 60-day trial of Microsoft Office has expired. If I pay the $149.99 for the activation key, it seems as though I'll be able to install the software on 3 computers (or so I read). Is this true? And if so, what sort of process will I have to go through to install it on my laptop? Will there be an online repository of sorts where the installation data will be kept, so that all I'll have to do is go there on my laptop, enter some passwords or something, and download/install?
If it says you can install it on 3 computers, then you can do that. You just use the same installation CD on each computer.
Because you are using the same installation CD for all the computers, you use the same activation key for all the computers also.
If the 60 day free trial was a download (no installation CD), then you will have to download it again on each additional computer.
No you cant install it on three computers with the same installation key that you buy, because nowadays u have to activate it on line, so when you activate the first computer then that activation key will not work on the other computers. Look for alternative ways to get activation key, ;) if u know what i mean
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOp. If it you realley need it on your laptop. than you should try to download the software into the laptop.
If I remember correctly, the Home and Student edition does indeed allow installation on 3 computers.

every computer has its own identity on the internet its location so as long as you stay at the same address xp home as many as you want xp pro max number is two i have had a lot of fun with computers hard drives crashing rebuilding virus etc the problem being if you use the same disk over and over it loses information wears out if you like mine still works but there are bits missing

You may never get to test the legality of installing on more than one system because Microsoft requires that you ''Activate'' your software via Internet connection to use it. Once you've activated on one system, you will not be allowed to activate on another.

I'm having trouble with choosing a major. It's either between computers programmer/systems analyst or go into being a pharmacist/technician. Im unsure as to which career would be the best choice. Which one would be harder to get into? and What type of classes do you have to take in college?
Pharmacy in very high demand. It's a field that not many think of when planning for an education. Computer programming/system analyst is more ''popular.'' Pharmacy technician is a relatively short training, but to become a pharmacist takes longer. Even a pharmacy tech can get a good wage.
I think Nissan USA should be ashamed of themselves for trying to make Nissan Computers give up the domain name www.nissan.com.
I can understand why Nissan Motors wants the name; because it's easier to type in than Nissanusa.com..........but I don't agree with the car company. Your opinions?

You will not be able to work in a computer related field such as Programmers, pc support, computer operator, data entry, word processor,

You will not be able to be misled by other people's opinion such as presidential poll
You will not be able to see dirty stuff in the internet (which in this case is good thing)
But...
You will save lot of electricity
You will need more people to work manually.

Well practically everything is digitalized and processed by computers.
Our banking info for instance. If there were no computers, all bank notes would have to be processed by hand. Circulation of data is immediate through the Internet, thanks to the computer again. The world is much more interlinked as well. Information from North America can travel to China in a second, whereas before the innovation of computer, it would have to be sent by ship, then by truck, then by man.
Also eliminated the typewriter. Gives us functionality with the work.
